Based on O'Henry's "Gift of the Maji," ten years later:  Here is Della's beautiful hair comb, given to her by Jim on their first Christmas together.  It rests in a jewelry box that has been placed near a cobalt perfume atomizer and an etched crystal vase filled with creamy yellow roses.
